A Goal Greater Than Just a TitleStory & Photos: Kev Racing MediaYour 2014 IJSBA Pro Ski World Champion will not defend his title at the 2015 IJSBA World Finals (7-10 October) in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, USA. Reiterer celebrated his debut as a Pro Racer and Icon of the Sport at the IJSBA World Finals several years ago. From then on he rode to 13 Titles and set himself into history books (the youngest and first ever rider to win Pro Ski and Pro Ski GP in the same year). After last year’s World Finals and another Title under his name, Reiterer started competing at the UIM World Championship this spring. The race series consists of 4 international races around the globe. Only the Top 20 racers of the World receive a place on the starting grid (UIM World Ranking). Reiterer himself a 4 time PRO IJSBA World Champion is swallowing a harsh transition. However his mindset and his thrive to be the best in doing what he loves sets him apart.“I have been going to World Finals since I was a young kid. It’s really hard leaving something so solid behind. But I am here for the long haul. I am looking beyond titles, I am in this sport to do what I love and race against the best to evolve myself. In my eyes I am currently following the race series which decides who is the best in the World.” explains current IJSBA World Champion. After an engine problem at the first round of the UIM Aquabike World Championship in Qatar and winning the second round in Europe, Reiterer sits in 4th of the World Championship points race with 2 races remaining. The young Austrian is confident: “It’s my first year at the new Championship and there were some changes I had to get used to. I believe that we still can fight for the overall victory.”We will keep the excitement up while the race teams prepare for the upcoming 3rd round of the UIM World Championship in China (3-4 October, 2015).More information on:
