Could This Be The Future of Sport GP? Jetsport Queensland Completes Sport GP Class Monster Build, the Blaster 260After spotting this unique build, Pro Rider Watercraft Magazine caught up with Matt from Jetsport Queensland to give us the low down on the recently completed monster Wave Blaster 260.Matt explained, “We had a request from a good customer for something special for him to race in his local tour rounds in the GP Sport Class. So, we came up with the Blaster 260 concept with the full help of the Jetsport team, and a tidy Blaster 1 Hull. We were able to fit a Sea-Doo 260hp motor with intercooler into the Blaster 1 with no top deck mods and the extra weight actually helps with the handling in rough water. The 260hp engine gives an arm wrenching acceleration to small Blaster 1.”Below are the specifications of the major build elements involved with completed the Blaster 260 for you to wrap your head around.Project Blaster 260 Engine: Sea-Doo 1503cc 4-TEC 260 RXP (Rebuilt with WSM Performance Parts) Driveline: Sea-Doo 1503cc 4-TEC 260 RXP Hull Type/ Year: Blaster 1997 Upper Deck / Bottom Deck Jetsport Design Approximate Build Time: 1 month HP: 260-280 Top Speed: First time on the water we clocked 70mph.
