While visiting Tim McKercher in Melbourne, FL. last year to do a test on the Sea-Doo RXP-X, Liquid Militia rider Mark Gomez, Bobby Howering of Trinity composites and I got hungry... Very hungry.By Ronny McHenry Tim told us we should go to The Burger Place. He said the owner of the restaurant is Karine Paturel and the burgers are amazing.Karine dominated the Pro-Am Women Runabout class from 1995 to 2002 winning 6 World Titles, and was inducted into the IJSBA Hall of Fame. We were all stoked on the suggestion, and quickly bid farewell to Tim and Cody to go get our grub on and meet Karine. I had met her in Havasu and in Daytona but was sure she wouldn't remember me. That didn't matter because we happened to be there on her day off. We ordered anyway, and told the girl who took our order what a badass legend her boss is.If your in the Melbourne area I highly suggest you check out The Burger Place. Hands down the best burger I ever had. The bun alone is worth a visit! We also had the fresh cut fries, and an old style hand made milk shake, which was epic.   Bummed we didn't get to see Karine, and so stuffed it hurt, we left happy campers.
