JUNE 28-29 – SPARKS, MARINA PARK SPARKS, NVThis will be 9th annual US Open of Watercross which has traveled from coast to coast bringing the best watercross riders throughout the USA and drawing competitors from all over the world, including Indonesia, Columbia, Kuwait, and South Africa.These competitors will be vying for the prestigious title of the Sparks US Open of Watercross Champion and winning means earning a place in watercross history, this internationally recognized event will be one of the highest paid events in the country.In addition this year competitors will be competing against one another to set a new Guinness World Record for the “most consecutive back flips on a personal watercraft” on Saturday evening, June 28th at the Spark Marina Park.IMPORTANT REQUIRED COMPETITOR INFORMATION:For 2014 and from this point on all competitors’ personal watercrafts will be required to carry the Nevada Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) decal at the cost of $20 per boat.These decals can be purchased online or you can purchase directly from the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) onsite at Sparks Marina Park. The NDOW will be located at the park’s gazebo over the course of the event weekend.
