Not just another weekend spent at the lake! It was a busy weekend with setting up on August 16th and racing on the 17th for the Jettribe Crew and Riders on the West Coast in Lake Perris, California for a chance at winning the 5th and final round and the overall podium spots of the IJSBA Jettribe West Coast Series Round presented by: Sea-Doo, Hot Products, Hydro-Turf, Optima Racing, Bomber Eyewear, IPD Graphics, Pro-Rider Magazine, AZ Jet ski, DMP Racing, and Tech One Racing.

We appreciate Lake Perris for allowing this event and Ross of RPM Racing Enterprises for putting this series together, because it would not have occurred otherwise. His team is responsible for setting up the course, getting riders registered, patrolling the course during the race so that everything was kept as fair and safe as possible, and finalizing the points to correctly award those that put in the effort to deserve the placement on the podium. Thanks to them it was one of the biggest stops along this tour with over 200 riders it was a jam packed day of racing filled with adrenaline while the sun scorched down making the lake ever more inviting.

Jettribe Riders Brock Austin gave it his best finishing with a 4th place in the Moto-1 and a DNS in Moto-2 in the Pro-Am Ski Stock class, Charles Anderson finished 1st in Moto-1 and First in Moto-2 in N/A Runabout. Renee Hill, a well-known runabout, rider chose to dust off her 800 SX-R this past weekend. We are very proud of not only the Jettribe Riders, but everyone that competed and participated in one way or another.

Have you heard about the new girl in town? Free style rider, Heidi “the hurricane” Cortel deemed a worthy unexpected challenge for the boys on the West Coast in the free style class Jettribe hopes to be more involved in her future free-stylist performances. Along with wishing her and other racers good luck in the future, be sure to thank Ross and the rest of his RPM Race Team for such a spectacular job that have done this season for the IJSBA Jettribe West Coast Series because without them it would not have been possible.

We’re now in the final countdown for the Blowsion Surf Slam in Pacific City, Oregon on September 6th, 7th, and 8th and the Hot Products World Finals in Lake Havasu City, Arizona on October 5th-15th. Needless to say these dates should be reserved on your calendar to attend 2 of the largest events of the season that brings in racers, riders, and spectators alike tackling some of the biggest waves on the West Coast, then for some of the fastest racing of the 2013 season. We hope to see everyone in Lake Havasu City for a spectacular event of racing. Be safe on the water and remember to always have fun and even more importantly, be safe!
