Round 1 of the HydroTurf ProWatercross Tour in Pensacola FL dished up some gnarly conditions, so much so that some of the rescuers needed rescuing!Course Marshal Randy found himself in a bit of a pickle, as did many of the people out on the water that weekend. Luckily, Eric Lagopoulos was near and was able to pluck Randy out of the water and reunite him with his watercraft.
It was good karma as Eric was able to return the favor to Randy. Eric said...“Randy pretty much saved my life back in the mid nineties . I was racing stand up and got into a huge wreck, knocked out cold and face down. He was there and yanked me out right away! It was a great feeling to return the favor.”
