By Taylor Aiken This unique circuit-racing format includes 3 x 10 lap qualifying heats followed by a 35-minute plus one lap main event. Moto one saw a good jump from James out of the gate only to have his ignition system temporarily cut out allowing Ashley Stojiljkovic and Guy Greenland to make a pass, thus finishing first, second and third respectively. Moto two saw James again get the jump on the field for the holeshot however a crucial error on lap two saw him miss a left hand turn buoy for five consecutive laps, relegating him to 8th place. Moto three again saw James holeshot leading from start to finish to take the win in the final qualifier.Next came the main event for the prestigious ‘King of the River’ title. In flawless fashion James once again pulled the holeshot leading the 31-minute moto, start to finish landing him the title.
Thrilled with the result James commented “my main goal this weekend was to win this event using our slightly modified customer based performance kit, the RXP 300. I wanted to show that this kit is race-worthy straight off our dealership floor.”PRO RUNABOUT FINAL RESULTS
